Santorini has long been the favorite spot for tourists and bloggers, and it’s for good reason. Weather, views, all come together in harmony to create the perfect ambiance. We spent two days and one night in Santorini exploring the island.
Day 1: Fira
We have honestly never seen a more photogenic place! Here in Fira, we were able to spot the blue domes Santorini has long been so famous for! Every little corner we turned into on the island was different and it’s own little treasure.
We spent the day exploring the bustling city. As day turned into night, and all of the city lights turned on, all of the buildings and storefronts glowed in blues and whites. If you thought that Santorini was beautiful in the daytime, just look at how the city lights up at night. It really is a sight to behold.
Day 2: Oía
On our second day in Santorini, we took a quick trip to Oía, a city on the far side of the island. The scenery there was equally as beautiful. We fell in love with the most charming little bookshop while strolling around in Oía! At Atlantic Books there was a little balcony with a sitting area, cheap books, and a stunning view of the ocean. Couldn’t get more perfect than that!
On the way back to Fira from Oía, our driver took us to one of Santorini‘ best kept secret spots : a panoramic view of the city and the ocean, all to ourselves! Oía is famously known as a place to watch one of the most beautiful sunsets in the world, and we can only imagine this backdrop being painted with hues of pink, yellows, red.
We took the ferry back to Crete to cap an end to our little one-night trip to Santorini.
